The BYU Fan Fest in Farmington, Utah, on Tuesday night was a big hit—to say the least.
Cougar fans in Davis County turned out by the thousands Tuesday night at the Legacy Events Center to meet and interact with BYU coaches and athletes and enjoy the various Fan Fest festivities. The flow of fans was constant throughout as BYU coaches and athletes stayed late into the evening meeting with fans for more than four hours to accommodate everyone who attended.
BYU teams represented at the Fan Fest included football, men's basketball, women's basketball, women's volleyball and gymnastics. Among those participating, football head coach Kalani Sitake, offensive coordinator Ty Detmer and defensive coordinator Ilaisa Tuiaki were on hand along with dozens of players and other coaches. Cosmo, the Cougarettes and the Cheer squad were also busy meeting and greeting fans throughout the event.
This is the fifth-straight season BYU has traveled to its fans to conduct Fan Fest events, which gives Cougar Nation the opportunity to interact and take photos with Cougar coaches and student-athletes while also enjoying games and festivities such as face painting, inflatables, team posters and other BYU prizes.
