Former BYU running back Jamaal Williams and linebacker/defensive lineman Harvey Langi are both participating in the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine this week in Indianapolis.
The NFL Scouting Combine is a vital event in the path to the draft. More than 300 prospects will participate in the 2017 NFL Combine in their quest to get drafted and continue their football careers at the next level.
Workouts for Williams, will begin Friday, March 3. The NFL Network's live coverage begins at 9 a.m. ET and continues each day through Monday's conclusion of the event.
Williams finished his BYU career as the school's career leader in rushing with 726 carries and 3,901 yards. He capped off his career with 1,375 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2016. His average of 137.5 rushing yards per game ranked No. 5 nationally.
Langi is scheduled to workout with the defensive linemen and linebackers beginning on Sunday, March 5. The versatile Langi played several different positions for the Cougars over the years, including middle and outside linebacker, defensive end and running back.
