I was a student intern for 1976, then assumed the full-time job of assistant sports information director in August 1977. Was promoted to associate director in 1979.
Recipient of the 42nd annual Wilbur Snypp Award (2016) for contributions to college baseball presented by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Inducted to Cheyenne East High School Hall of Fame, 2004. 1999 Elmore (Scoop) Hudgens Sports Information Director Award by All-American Football Foundation.
