The Salt Lake Chapter of the Cougar Club is excited to announce the 7th Annual 2012 Big Blue Bash: A BYU Football Party on Saturday, August 25. The event will be held in Ballroom of the Downtown Marriott Hotel located at 75 South West Temple in Salt Lake City Utah. The event will begin at 7:00 pm. All Cougar Fans are invited.
This year the Big Blue Bash will feature BYU Head Coach Bronco Mendenhall, former Cougar greats Todd Christensen and Curtis Brown, and current players Romney Fuga and Riley Nelson. KSL’s “Voice of the Cougars” Greg Wrubell and former Cougar quarterback Blaine Fowler will be the emcees for the evening.
Admission is only $5 if paid in advance from Aug. 6-22, and is $10 at the door. Fans must RSVP and pay by August 22 to get the $5 rate. To RSVP, please call the Cougar Club Office at 1-800-426-4298, beginning on August 6.
The new football t-shirt and poster will be available at the event.
The reception starts at 7:00 p.m. and includes door prizes, light hors d’oeuvres, autographs by the speakers, music, trivia, a silent auction of memorabilia, Cosmo, and the BYU Cheer Squad. Following the reception, from 7:40 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Coach Mendenhall and the former and current players will speak. Video highlights will also be shown.
All BYU fans are invited to attend the Big Blue Bash, and wear casual BYU attire.
